Permit Transfer Requests
Intra and Inter-district Permits dates for the 2023-2024 school year will be April 1, 2023 - May 1, 2023.
Intra-district Permits
You may apply for an intra-district permit to have your child attend a Sacramento Unified School other than their neighboring school of attendance.
Inter-district Permits
Inter-district permits are used to transfer in and out of the
Sacramento City School District. Permit transfers are
approved based on space availability at the requested
school. A transcript and/or withdrawal grades as well as
attendance and behavior reports are required when requesting
an inter-district permit transfer.
