All students entering grades 7-12 this fall must show proof of
receiving their TDAP (tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis) booster
before they can attend school in September! This
applies to every current student, new student and transfer
student. Please bring proof of this booster to school to be
reviewed and recorded.
The 2011-2012 school year is just around the corner so we wanted
to give this information out as soon as possible!
Please review the district approved revisions to the Parent
Handbook, the Dress Code and the Activities and Athletics

We are getting prepared for next year and starting to develop the
courses that will be offered at SES next year based on our
enrollment. Please help make this a smoother process by
returning this form to the Main Office or emailing the completed
form to Ms. Clayton at marla-clayton@scusd.edu
If you are not attending SES next year, please fill out this form
as well so we can have an accurate head count for next year.
Please return the completed form by Thursday, March 31, 2011.
We are instituting a new detention policy when students are tardy
or when they receive a referral. This new policy will be in place
starting Monday, February 28, 2011 and will consist of lunch time
detentions rather than after school detentions.
If a student is tardy to class on campus or if they receive a
referral, they will be serving lunch detentions on either Tuesday
or Thursday. The student will get lunch and report directly to
detention where they will work on completing their school
work.

SES is firmly committed to providing a book for each student. As a small school, we must manage our budget carefully and cannot afford to replace lost and damaged books.
Students will be held responsible for damages to or loss of books due to theft, loss or negligence. We will not charge for use of books or normal wear and tear. For damage, partial fees may be assessed.
