The School of Engineering & Sciences PTSA Rocket Boosters
will hold a general meeting followed immediately by an “open mic”
SES community meeting on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at 6:00 p.m.,
in the multipurpose room.
Parents, students, teachers, and administration are strongly
encouraged to attend this meeting. Here is your opportunity to be
informed of what is happening at SES and to ask questions and
share thoughts and suggestions with other members of our SES
community.
Please contact the SFCP Office at 643-7924 to find out more about
district and community resource information and community
connections!
Meetings are held at the Serna Center the last Monday of each
month from 11:30-12:30 and lunch is provided! The dates are 1/31,
2/28, 3/28, 4/25 and 5/23.
If you’re the kind of person who wants to make a difference at
SES but doesn’t have the time to sell wrapping paper, bake, or
anything else, then this is the fundraiser for you! At any time
during the school year, you can make a cash donation to the SES
PTSA which will go directly to funding many important programs,
projects, and events for our students.
It’s fast. We timed it: It takes 24 seconds to
write a check.
The School of Engineering and Sciences PTSA Rocket Boosters is
part of the national PTA organization committed to supporting
children from birth through age 18.
Your voting membership affects not only the approximately 400
students at the School of Engineering and Sciences but also
affects the approximately 9 million children statewide and
billions of children nationwide, making a difference in the
education and quality of life for all children.
This year we've decided to change the name of our PTSA (Parent
Teacher Student Association) group to the PTSA Rocket Boosters.
The Boosters do all sorts of things to help support the school,
including fundraising and sponsoring events. Please contact one
of the members to join!
There are many ways you can help out at SES - from volunteering
to head up committees to helping raise money for specific school
needs. There's a place for everyone!
