FIRST Robotics

FRC robotic meetings will be held every Monday from 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. beginning Monday, 10/11 and will continue until January 2011. The official FRC kick-off and release of the robotics challenge will take place sometime during the first week in January. During the build season (six weeks after the kick-off), students will then be meeting more frequently including weekends and for a longer duration. The regional competition will be held at the UC Davis ARC Pavilion Davis, CA from March 17 – 19, 2011.

A parent/student meeting will be scheduled at a later date. Each student will agree to abide by team policies and work to the best of his/her abilities to achieve team goals. Team members will be required to complete a contract that will include general behavior, safety procedures, and academic goals, which all student members must practice while participating in the FRC robotics program at SES. Each student will also practice Gracious Professionalism not only with members of their own team, but with the robotics community in general.
