MULTIPURPOSE ROOM:
The next general meeting of the SES PTSA will be held on Tuesday, February 16th, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the multipurpose room. We will be forming a nominating committee for the election of the PTSA board for the 20102011 school year. This is a very important committee and its members are elected by the PTSA membership. The committee needs a balance of newer and more experienced PTSA members, all of whom should be knowledgeable about PTSA.
SES E-Waste collection fundraiser held on January 30, 2010, brought in $1,283.11 to the PTSA. All PTSA funds are earmarked to benefit all students at SES. GREAT JOB EVERYONE! Special thanks to Mary Clark for her tireless devotion to the PTSA and SES in general.
PTSA will be holding another vendor fair on Thursday, April 22nd, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at our new school site. If you are a crafter or a vendor or know a crafter or a vendor who would like to participate, please contact Alita Rivas (arivas88@att.net) for more information.
Parents need to return the attached letter to the office to notify SES
of their students' intention to return for the 2010 - 2011 school year.
It is due in the office by February 19, 2010.
The PTSA will hold a Pasta Dinner and Bake Sale fundraiser to help raise money for all SES students. Join them! Tickets are $5 per person if ordered before Feb. 26th, after that they're $7 each. Dinner includes pasta, salad and a roll. See the attachment for more info.
7th and 8th grade students should be working on their science projects already – the second Science Night is coming up March 2, 2010! All the documents students need are posted on this site, simply <a href="/science-night">click here</a> and download the attachments to the post.
